Shane McLoughlin BA, MA, MSc, QFA, CFP
Shane is the Managing Director of Rockbridge Financial Planning. He has over 20 years’ experience in the area of financial planning having worked with a number of well known wealth management firms in Ireland before establishing his own financial advisory firm in 2009.
Shane is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), Retirement Planning Advisor (RPA), Specialist Investment Advisor (SIA) and a Fellow of the Life Insurance Association (FLIA). He is an Economics graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway, holds a Masters in Business from the University of Limerick (UL), a Masters in Financial Services from University College Dublin (UCD) and is a graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland . Shane is also a Revenue-Approved Pensioneer Trustee and Pension Trustee Practitioner (PTP).
Shane has written many articles for a number of national newspapers and professional publications on the subject of wealth creation and financial planning. He is passionate about understanding wealth creation and helping his clients achieve their financial ambitions and lifestyle objectives. Originally from Limerick, Shane now lives in Dundrum in Dublin.
Paul Gleeson BBS, CPC, QFA, HDip Psy
Paul is a Director of Rockbridge Financial Planning. He has over 13 years’ experience working in tax and wealth management in both Ireland and Canada. Paul is a Business graduate of the University of Limerick, a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and holds a Certificate in Professional Coaching from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. While working as a financial advisor in Canada he also qualified as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Paul also hold a Psychology Degree from Dublin Business School.
Paul brings an interesting combination of academic qualifications and some very rich life experience to the work he does with clients. He has completed some unique expeditions including rowing 4,500 km across the Atlantic Ocean, cycling across Australia, and rowing 1,800 km through the North West Passage in Canada. This rather unique mix of experience and professional qualifications brings together a very unique and effective experience for the clients that Paul works with.
Author of the book “Crossing the Swell”, Paul is married with three children and lives in Dublin.
